Coastlands Vineyard: Old Firs Block

Coastlands Vineyard: Old Firs Block

Located adjacent to a stand of 275-year-old Douglas trees, the Old Firs Block of our Coastlands Vineyards features our oldest Pinot Noir vines. Planted back in 1989, before Dijon clones were available in California, this special block features three wonderful clones: Wadenswil 2A and Martini 13 and 15.

Grown at the very top of Coastlands, at an elevation of 1,200 feet, in deep rich soils, these selections produce a rich, intense wine with enticing spice and savory herb notes.
